The Slow Down Movement or taking it easy, is seeking a response from the speed with which we live and that leads to a state of constant stress, resulting in the suffering of heart diseases and arrhythmia, high blood pressure, strokes, loss of sleep, depression, weak immune system and more multiple diseases.
Slow Down ‘s culture sets to do things at the right pace, without overloading the agenda and commitments, the idea is to do one thing at a time. Each of us has 24 hours to live every day and Slow Down consists in giving a twist to evaluate our attitude to life, taking more time to enjoy it, be with the family, and spend more time relaxing.

- Get to feel better about yourself. Walk more slowly, take your time when making decisions, drive your car and bike slower, savor every bite of your food, enjoy the life around you instead of focusing on establishing a new speed record.
- Remember the words of Napoleon “Dress me slowly, I’m in a hurry” Perhaps this was the origin of the Slow Down. Remember that everything is best done slowly. When we have a commitment we are forced to comply with much haste, if it is bad, no one will remember that you did it fast, and that was a Sunday and sacrifice yourself to work, people just will be set in the error and it will stay on your record forever.
- Connect with now and enjoy the moment. When you think about living in the present, you will feel good and relaxed. Your mood will be more optimistic. You will be more focused on your work and your social life will improve. You do things right without thinking much about them. That means you are living in harmony with yourself.
